NON-REPAYABLE GRANTS
Agrisolare
Agrisolare is a non-repayable grant for the construction of photovoltaic systems on buildings used for production in the agricultural, livestock, and agro-industrial sectors.
For primary production agricultural companies, photovoltaic systems are eligible for aid only if the objective is to meet the company’s energy needs and if their production capacity does not exceed the average annual electricity consumption of the agricultural company, including household consumption.
“Projects that include the purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels on roofs of buildings instrumental to the activities of beneficiary subjects will be funded. This includes buildings intended for reception and hospitality within the scope of agrotourism activities.”
In addition to this activity, one or more of the following retrofitting actions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the structures can be carried out:
- Removal and disposal of asbestos from the roofs;
- Implementation of thermal insulation for the roofs;
- Creation of a ventilation system connected to the roof replacement (ventilated roof and air evacuation chimneys).
From 2022 to 2026, the resources amount to 1.5 billion euros, charged to the funds of the PNRR, Mission 2, Component 1, Investment 2.2. At least 40% of these resources are allocated to projects to be carried out in the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia, and Sicily.
The beneficiary applies for the grant in the manner and terms set in the provisions and in the notice of adherence, where the time window for submitting applications will be identified.
The beneficiaries must implement, test, and report the actions within 18 months from the date of publication of the list of beneficiaries admitted to the grant.
The grant is issued within 30 days of approval of the application. The disbursement will be made by bank transfer to the specified IBAN at the time of application submission, in a single installment at the end of the project within 90 days after acquiring the complete documentation, except for the option to grant an advance up to 30% backed by an adequate guarantee.
- Maximum allowable expense per single project € 750,000. Maximum limit for a single beneficiary € 1,000,000. 6 kWp < peak power < 500 kWp
- Installation of photovoltaic panels max € 1,500/kWp
- Additional € 1,000/kWh for storage systems up to a maximum of € 50,000

Additional € 250/kW (up to a cap of € 15,000) for electric charging devices (except for devices with power less than 22 kW, whose maximum allowable price is € 1,500 for wall boxes and € 4,000 for columns) for sustainable mobility and agricultural machinery.

Demolition and reconstruction of roofs up to a maximum allowable limit of € 700/kWp

Within the maximum limits, external project design, certification, supervision, and testing costs are allowable.
Any necessary permits by law, distinct by type of intervention, must be owned and proven by the implementing subject within the deadline for requesting the first financial disbursement, as regulated in the subsequent article 10. The intensity of the incentive varies from 30% to 70% of eligible expenses depending on the characteristics of the agricultural company.
The beneficiaries are:
- Individual or corporate agricultural entrepreneurs;
- Agro-industrial enterprises, in possession of the ATECO code required by the regulations;
- Agricultural cooperatives performing activities according to Article 2135 of the Civil Code, and cooperatives or their consortia according to Article 1, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree May 18, 2001, n. 228. 228. Subjects exempt from VAT accounting, with an annual turnover less than 7,000 euros, are excluded.

- Turnkey construction of the photovoltaic system
- Turnkey implementation of other incentivized interventions (asbestos removal and disposal, implementation of thermal insulation for roofs, creation of an aeration system connected to the roof replacement such as air gap).
